J. McKittrick Builders was established in 1995 and has over 30 years of experience in the building trade. Proprietor, James McKittrick left school at 16 and gained an apprenticeship with a local building company. He worked his way through the company to eventually start running teams of workers and also leading major projects that the company were working on. In 1995, James decided it was time to start his own business. He started off by sub-contracting to other companies and then as his business grew he started taking on apprentices of his own. He has also gained a Training Excellence award from The Learning Skills Council.
