Eye bolts must be tested in accordance with BS 7883:2005 and anybody that works at height must have the appropriate eye bolts or safety equipment in place to ensure fall protection.

All eye bolts must be tested annually except abseiling eye bolts which need testing 6 monthly and they must carry a test certificate to comply with HSE legislation.
